Seagoing coaster.

Built 1962 at Shipyard Makkum, The Netherlands.

The vessel is one from a series of 14 ships that have been built by order of E. Wagenborg’s Scheepvaart & Expeditiebedrijf N.V. of Delfzijl, The Netherlands

In 2009 the vessel was drydocked in the historical Jan Blanken Drydock in Hellevoetsluis, The Netherlands. During docking the ships hull got a lot of attention and was hydrojet with 2.5 SI to bare steel and after that conserved, also where necessary steel repairs have been carried out.

 

Furthermore the Vessel still has the original

  • Bodewes steering gear
  • Bratvaag winches en anchor winches
  • Samofa auxiliary engines
  • Borga pumps

 

A possible new future of the vessel can be a Live on Board, a party vessel or conversion into a yacht.

 

This vessel is the last fully original coaster from the 60-ies.
